With school, work and life, its been really difficult to get away for our usual summertime camping trips. The campfires, tents and of course, smores are a major highlight of our summers. Thankfully, our neighbors were feeling the same way, so we all decided to have a cul de sac campout. The boys slept in one tent across the street while the girls slept in a tent in our front yard. We put lawn chairs around the fire bowl in the middle of the street and roasted hot dogs and smores. Everybody had a blast!

We were all entertained by the musical stylings of Grayson and his magical kazoo. Literally HOURS of fun.

what a GREAT idea! It sounds like lots of fun, and that you have great neighbors. we are house hunting right now, and are trying to find a house on a cul-de-sac. we've looked at lots, but none in the school district we want. RATS!
That's awesome! It sounds like so much fun. You're making me wish we were on a cul-de-sac.....
